PUT SOME MONEY IN THEM! This drives me nuts! How many times have you got a card in the mail from someone who really you don't care got you the card. I'm talking about not-really-friends and those long lost relatives who just have some standard way of sending them out to everyone in their little rolodex just because they feel like it's a nice thing to do.
To those people... you never try to get ahold of me, so sending a card once every couple years is your way of "keeping in touch"? Get real. Matter of fact, I believe the same boring card I received was probably the same card you bulk ordered and sent to everyone else. If you're going to make me spend 10 minutes opening the envelope that is covered with tape and stickers, then send some money in it like I mentioned to pay me for my time.. after all, writing your name in a blank card is no better than sending a blank card. Here's a couple ideas... next time, go get unique get well cards that aren't bought in bulk. It's not like there are shortages of places to find them. Hell, even go as far as to spend an extra minute pretending like you care by getting a funny one.
Which reminds me. It's almost your birthday. I think I might go take a quick little peek over at the rude & insulting cards section or maybe the nasty greeting cards. All I'm really asking for here is a little less junk to deal with. You send me crap in my email box that I delete, but sending a crappy card that takes real effort to open and read makes me want 10 minutes of my life back.
10 minutes plus $$$.
Forbes reported that the bailout of all the failing banks didn't pass in the House, so while I think that's great news, what does that mean for the next few days/weeks/months? How exactly do we fix this thing if lending them isn't the right option? Sure, we can just let them fail, but besides proving a point, how are we not going to fall into another huge depression if every bank is going under? The last thing I want is the government owning the banks, so like I said, I'm glad it didn't pass but this leaves alot of questions in my head. I hope these next few months aren't too "interesting".
I'm seeing these motivational posters or demotivational posters all over the place. I don't know who the guy is that invented this whole style of art, but it truly has taken over the internet. They're not really even motivational anymore.. more like just a bit of "wisdom" that makes you think or stare. Pretty funny stuff.. there's many more than this, but these are my favorite ones.
It might take a while to load them all...
Whew! That took forever to add those images. Hope you enjoy!
This is basically my to-buy list.. which of course first depends on getting enough money to get them all. They're not all from the same place, so shipping is going to be as much as a new shirt by the time I get them all. In no particular order, here's my new wardrobe:
Need I say more? Truly epic design.
If you loved the movie "office space", you'll get this one. Brilliant. From Bustedtees
Another from bustedtees. If you didn't watch home improvement growing up, I don't think you should even be on my site. This is it right here.
Finally... from 80stees...
Which reminds me of the overlapping design that's very similar on this vintage t-shirts page. I actually think I like this one better though. The distressed look is better.
Well, that might be a little much but this is freaking me out wondering how this lil thing figured out how to do this.
